Roanoke Area FairTax Services

Roanoke Area FairTax can interact with you at any level of your experience with the FairTax, from beginner to informational speaker.  The levels and the services provided are as follows:

Beginner

Learner

  • We provide educational meetings covering a number of aspects of the FairTax.  These slide presentations are repeated at least twice a year.
  • We present a seminar, The FairTax Story, at least twice a year.
  • Watch this site for scheduled events.

Enthusiast / Activist

  • We seek opportunities to conduct outreach exercises to increase the number of people who are familiar with the FairTax and, at the same time, our membership. Roanoke examples are:
    • St. Patrick’s Day Parade
    • Tax Day, April 15th at the Post Office
    • Various festivals and other events.
    • Election Day.
  • We support the activities of individual members to conduct outreach among their families, friends, neighbors, and co-workers.
  • We support the formation of satellite FairTax groups that are distant and have a concentration of supporters. NRV FairTax is the first example.
  • We hope to provide opportunities to support rallies for the FairTax.

Knowledgeable / Expert

  • We provide opportunities for people well versed in the principles of the FairTax to conduct seminars and other open educational sessions.
  • We provide opportunities for these same people to speak to civic and other groups. To request a speaker, contact us.
  • We hope to arrange classes to train others to become knowledgeable and teach others.
  • To volunteer to teach, contact us.
