Inexpensive way to promote the Fairtax in Washington, DC on 9-12-09!

Many people have indicated an interest in going to Washington, DC on 9-12-09 to demonstrate in favor of the FairTax that day.

The Franklin County Patriots (Tea Party group in Franklin County) is organizing a bus trip to take part in the National Tea Party March on Washington. They currently have two buses going.  One is full and the other is half full. The cost is only $35 for a round trip from Franklin County, VA to Washington, DC and back. They must pay for the bus by the 24th so you had better act fast! Contact the organizer at franklincountyteaparty@gmail.com or call 540-483-4325.

The bus(es) will be leaving Rocky Mount, VA at 6AM and plan to be in Washington by 10 AM to take part in the 9-12 march.  We want as many FairTax signs there as possible! The 9-12 March On Washington is a protest to ”

Our message is that governments at all levels have been spending way too much money. The federal government is especially guilty of this, as they pile up the debt, deficits and unfunded liabilities. They are taxing, borrowing or printing money with no end in sight. This madness has to stop, and that is why we are demanding that they stop the wasteful spending and stop burdening taxpayers with more debt.” These people are already tax protesters don’t you want more of them to know about the FairTax!

BTW: I think these folks, from Franklin County, support the FairTax – If you look at the top of the left column on their website. You will find a FairTax link and a FairTax Logo!

There is a second group organizing buses leaving from Staunton. The cost is the same. This may work better for those folks who live on the North side of Roanoke.
