Roanoke Area FairTax

There is an interesting new website, www.WhiteHouse2.org, that is attempting to create a national priority list for the new administration.  Set up to receive input from ordinary citizens, the site is very new but shows promise of being able to attract the attention of policymakers.  It is well designed, easy to use, and facilitates communication among participants.  To participate, it’s necessary to register as a user.  Although created by left-leaning individuals, the site shows evidence of participation by a broad spectrum of politics.

The FairTax, or at least a collection of “Priorities” satisfied by the FairTax, has rocketed to #1 priority in just a few days in early balloting.  There is a procedure to merge same-sounding or associated “Priorities” to coalesce around a single idea.  This should solidify the FairTax’s top rating.  I urge visitors to this site to join WhiteHouse2, vote, and keep the FairTax out in plain view.
