Roanoke Area FairTax

New River Valley FairTax (NRVFT), RAFT’s new Christiansburg affiliate, will have a table at the New River Valley Fair from July 21-27.  Stop by for information, to register your support, and to receive bumper stickers.  NRVFT meets monthly on the fourth Thursday at 6:30 P.M. at the Christiansburg Library.  Meetings are generally devoted to presenting information about the principles of the FairTax followed by active discussion and questions.  Come to learn and bring a friend!  The leaders of NRVFT, Mark Riggles and Barbara Martin, can be contacted at NRVFaTx@gmail.com.  They are seeking to expand the FairTax reach into the Radford-Christiansburg-Blacksburg community with the goal of bringing citizen pressure to bear on Rep. Rick Boucher to support and co-sponsor the FairTax bill.
